Yesterday I spotlighted a review on the efo’s ECO Button, a little device and software combo that helps Windows users cut energy costs and do their part to reduce CO2 emissions. Except, well, this is the original. I thought it looked familiar… too familiar it turns out.
I don’t want to get embroiled in IP drama, but suffice it to say, if you’re interested in an Eco Button for your PC, you’re probably better off buying it from the originator. And if you’re in a DIY kind of mood, check out this Instructables post about hacking the Eco Button to do your bidding.
